The Haven is a great organization which “works to reduce homelessness by initiating creative solutions and coordinating regional resources and services.” The money that we raise for them this year will go towards funding a new practical readiness program at The Haven, which aims to prepare their guests for employment and community living. Some skills provided through the program will include financial literacy, conflict resolution training, resume development, and interviewing skills.
